We’re looking for a Director of Digital Marketing to join the acceleration stage of our sustainable & clean plant-based foods CPG start-up. Must be agile, collaborative, quick to pivot, detail-oriented and focused on strategic action to test early adopters and retain customers. The ideal candidate will have played previous roles in product marketing in the CPG space, have a great understanding of omni-channel marketing, and how to find customer “signal” through digital sales channels.

what you’ll do

  • Lead strategic marketing planning with an emphasis on our consumer digital channels.
  • Architect and execute user acquisition campaigns across multiple targets, geos, demographics, and channels across ad networks, social and ecommerce platforms.
  • Develop and implement audience-centric content marketing strategies.
  • Plan and execute all web, SEO, email and database campaigns.
  • Support and oversee all marketing contractors to ensure deliverables are met.
  • Develop key KPIs and metric objectives for each campaign/program and report to our Executive management team.
  • Work well in an agile environment alongside multiple teams, including marketing, social, design, content, analytics and food sales; collaborating, reporting and getting buy-in as needed.
  • Maintain tracking and analysis on audience and content testing campaigns to validate success and recalibrations.

what you’ll need to succeed

  • 7+ years of experience in digital marketing and analysis
  • Experience in Natural foods/packaged foods/health and/or beauty & wellness industries
  • Must be adept in a variety of digital media platforms including the Google Marketing Platform, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok etc.
  • Deep understanding of marketing mix and customer decision journey
  • Experience with marketing through Amazon and Shopify
  • Effective writing and presenting copy and content for multiple channels.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit able to identify and solve problems in an ambiguous environment.
